Louisiana Lottery officials have confirmed a ticket sold in Louisiana matched the numbers needed to claim $150,000 in Saturday night's Powerball Lottery game. The game's top prize at the time of the drawing was estimated to be $181.5 million dollars. Here is the way the drawing unfolded if you did not get the chance to watch.

The Powerball website confirms that the numbers drawn April 8,2023 were:

11   22   24   51   60   Powerball 18 Powerplay x3

The Powerball site also revealed that not tickets sold across the game's footprint matched the necessary numbers to claim the game's jackpot of $181.5 million. However, there was a Match 5 winner sold in Maryland. The prize for Match 5 is $1,000,000.

As far as Louisiana wins in the Powerball game go from last night, there weren't that many winners sold, actually. Only five tickets from last night's game are worth $300 and eleven more are worth $100. The rest of the winners in Louisiana, aside from the $150,000 winner, claimed a prize of $21 or less in last night's drawing.

Texas Lottery officials confirm a ticket sold in the Lone Star State is worth $50,000 from the April 8th drawing. However, the point of purchase and city of purchase were not available at the time of this report.

Meanwhile in Louisiana officials with the Louisiana Lottery were able to confirm not only the city of purchase but the point of purchase for last night's $150,000 winner. The big money winner was sold in Hammond, Louisiana. Lottery Officials say the winning ticket was purchased at the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store on US 190 in Hammond.
