Louisiana Sam’s Clubs React to Shopper Feedback With New Policy
(KMDL-FM) Fans of Walmart-owned Sam's Club warehouse stores should be proud of themselves. Because of their constant and consistent feedback to the policy makers of the store, there are going to be some significant changes made. Will these changes be enough to sway you to Sam's from Costco? Let's see.
Savvy Sam's Club shoppers may have already noticed the changes, which went into effect this past weekend. The change was made with very little fanfare at first, but since the first weekend seemed to go just fine, there seems to be a little more conversation about what's new.

Suppose you're a fan of the warehouse club model for shopping. In that case, you know that Sam's Club's mission is to provide customers with brands they trust, products they need, and the opportunity to experience substantial savings through bulk buying practices and lower in-store overhead. The new Sam's Club policy will also give shoppers the one thing that money can't buy.
What Is The Main Benefit For Shoppers From Sam's Club's New Policy?
You have probably figured out that the "one thing" Sam's Club is hoping to offer to its members is more time. To do that, as of last weekend, Sam's Club has expanded its weekend hours, specifically its Sunday hours.
The new store hours at Sam's Club on Sundays will be 8 AM to 8 PM. This expands the window for shoppers by two hours. The previous hours were 10 AM to 8 PM. Members who have joined at the highest level in Sam's Club will be able to shop exclusively from 8 AM to 9 AM on Sundays, with those holding regular memberships being welcomed to the store at 9 AM.
How Much Are Memberships at Sam's Club?
Sam's Memberships are not free; the cost of a Standard Membership is $50 annually, while the Plus Membership is $110 per year. There are 14 Sam's Clubs in Louisiana in cities such as Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Lake Charles, New Orleans, and others.
