Zoosiana Hosts Family-Friendly Boo at the Zoo

BROUSSARD, La. (KMDL-FM) Zoosiana in Broussard will once again be putting on one of their most popular events of the year, "Boo at the Zoo." The best part is that the event is happening all month, now through October 31.

What Is Boo at the Zoo?

Boo at the Zoo is a fun-filled, family event that celebrates Halloween. Zoosiana will be decorated in the spirit of Boo at the Zoo to help get you in the festive spirit.

The best part of Boo at the Zoo is there is no special event pricing for it. It's simply normal zoo admission and Zoosiana members get in free.

Daily Halloween Fun at Zoosiana

The festive event features daily events, including:

Photo op spot and online costume contest
Trick-or-Treat bag upon exit (for children 12 and under)
Bat-themed scavenger hunt

How to Enter the Costume Contest

For the popular costume contest, make sure you first take your photo at the photo op spot located at the Critter Café. Then, email your best photo to boo@zoosiana.com to submit. Submitted photos will be uploaded weekly to Zoosiana's Facebook page. Vote by "liking" the photo of your favorite costume(s).

The photo with the most likes by the end of the day on October 31, 2025, will win a special prize. The winner will be announced on Zoosiana's Facebook and Instagram and will be contacted by email no later than November 2, 2025.
