Big Change Revealed for All 27 Louisiana Chili’s Locations

They can sing it in Lake Charles, Leesville, and Abbeville. I bet you could hear it sung in places such as Covington, Bossier City, and Alexandria as well. What's the song? Well, you know it's about Chili's Restaurant so that means we are looking for a clean napkin and something to wash the sauce off our faces as we raise our voices in unison to sing.

I want my baby back, baby back, baby back, ribs .... You know if you pressed play on that video the darn Chili's jingle is going to be stuck between your ears for the rest of the day. And that's okay. I think the world could use a song about ribs and the folks at Chili's have a good one.

The folks at Chili's have also announced some major changes in the way you and I will be asked to pay once we have dined at one of their restaurants. The company has announced a partnership with Ziosk. Ziosk is a Dallas, Texas-based company that specializes in pay-at-the-table platforms. 

Chili's has entered into a partnership with Ziosk to bring the tabletop tablets to most of its restaurants nationwide. The high-tech tablets will allow guests to place their orders, ask for additional items, pay their bills, and participate in the Chili's rewards program without ever leaving their seats at the table.

From what we understand the tablets will also allow guests to play games and experience other forms of entertainment while they dine. No, this won't mean an end to personal service at Chili's.

According to a company spokesperson, the addition of Ziosk tablets will enhance the efficiency of a guest's experience while offering a more engaging and entertaining time while dining.

You might be thinking, "This isn't new" but it is. Chili's has worked with Ziosk in the past to provide tabletop service. The company then switched to a similar service with a company called Presto. That contract has expired and now Chili's is returning to Ziosk, so that is where you will notice the changes.

The restaurant chain has already rolled out the new payment policy at some of its 1,100 locations across the nation. If the Ziosk tablets aren't available at your favorite Chili's they probably will be in a few weeks and months.
