13 Fragrances Louisiana Fathers Will Love for Father’s Day
On Sunday, June 16th, 2024 Louisiana will celebrate Father's Day. Okay, we won't be the only state celebrating but nobody throws a better party than Louisiana, so you can only judge your Dad's Day party by the measuring stick that is ours.
If your Louisiana Father's Day is typical it will likely find Dad firing up his grill and cooking for his family. The family will then present dear old Dad an array of gift items he probably didn't want or need. That's because men are hard-wired to just go out and buy the things they want or need instead of waiting for a holiday to have them gifted.
This deviation in DNA from Dad compared to Mom makes shopping for the old boy a lot more difficult than shopping for Mother's Day will ever be. You see, in order to catch Dad's eye you have to be unique and different. And in the case of most guys if you can be irreverent and funny too, then you'll have a winner of a gift.
The fragrance industry is one of those industries that cater to men. Okay, they cater to women on behalf of men. If you watch a commercial for a man's fragrance the one constant you can just about set your watch by is the appearance of a suggestive and sexy woman. Trust me, I don't care what Calvin Klein smells like, it's not going to cover up that spare tire that's poking out from under Dad's Alan Jackson T-shirt from his "Don't Rock the Jukebox" Tour in 1992.
Still, it's not like Dad doesn't want to smell nice. He just doesn't want to smell like Madison Avenue's definition of a man. He'd rather smell like himself and that means some unique fragrances designed with his body chemistry and tastes in mind.
