Thieves in Louisiana Steal School Bus and Then Repaint It

School buses are on the roads these days as kids return to school and one bus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is out of commission because someone stole it.

WBRZ reports that an East Baton Rouge Parish school bus went missing over the weekend and the Baton Rouge Police Department found it.

The bus was reportedly repainted white and the rims on the bus were painted red.

In addition to the bus being repainted by thieves, the words "Jigga City Steppers" were painted on the bus.  

The Baton Rouge television station reports that the bus was parked in a parking lot when it was stolen and not in a secure location due to the number of buses in the school district.

Police are looking for those responsible for stealing and repainting the school bus. Here's a look at the bus that BRPD later located.
