Louisiana Man Allegedly Threatens School Bus With Weapon and Bear Spray
A Baton Rouge man was arrested after he allegedly threatened a school bus driver while having a gun and bear spray in his possession.
WBRZ reports Duane Landry harassed parents, students, and the bus driver earlier this week after the bus blocked an intersection while transporting and picking up kids.
According to the news report. "Landry was booked with having a gun and wearing body armor near a school zone and with intimidation and interference with school operations."
A parent told WBRZ that her child was on the bus when Landry attempted to board the bus while wearing body armor and while having a gun and the spray in his possession. Landry was so upset that the bus was blocking the roadway, that he threatened to shoot the driver.
Landry is known for going on these types of rants as a neighbor tells the Baton Rouge television station that he had a confrontation with him one day after she asked him to pick up his dog's waste in her yard.
Luckily no one was injured in this bizarre incident, but it is a reminder to be aware of your surroundings and to always report any suspicious activity you may see happening in school zones.
We just hope that the kids on the school bus were not too traumatized by this incident.
