A man in Louisiana is in trouble after he allegedly impersonated a police officer.

According to WVUE, Justin Marshall, 36, of Slidell, was taken into custody after he reportedly tried to pull over a pickup truck that happened to be driven by a real deputy chief.

The deputy, who was driving an unmarked truck, saw this white SUV driving recklessly, that had a Fraternal Order of Police license plate and attempted to pull the SUV over,

Marshall, who is accused of impersonating an officer, then allegedly put his own lights on, which were mounted to the vehicle, and attempted to pull over the deputy.

According to the news station, police found a badge, a gun, and a police radio in the vehicle. When authorities attempted to remove the man impersonating an officer from the SUV, a physical altercation ensued.

The incident happened on Interstate 10, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Justin Marshall was booked into jail on one count of false personation of a peace officer.
