Conjoined Twin Abby Hensel Gets Married, See Her First Dance Here
You may remember the conjoined twins, Brittany and Abbey Hensel from news reports and even reality TV.
Well, Abbey is married and she tied the know with Josh Bowling, a nurse and United States Army veteran.
Today reports that the two got married in 2021 and they are now working as fifth-grade teachers in Minnesota.
People explain the twins as such, "The Hensels are dicephalous conjoined twins, a rare form of partial twinning with two heads side by side on one torso. They share a bloodstream and all organs below the waist. Abby controls their right arm and leg, while Brittany controls the left."
The twins have often noted in interviews and in reality TV that their condition would never stop them from doing what they want, and apparently marriage has always been on the list.
I recall years ago hearing their parents explain in an interview that they chose not to have them separated at birth because of the risk and they feared that they'd lose one or both if they went through with the procedure to separate them.
So, years later here we are, they are now 34 years old.
Check out the first dance for Abby and her husband Josh. We congratulate them and wish them nothing but happiness.
