Police have arrested a man who targeted a Las Colinas Chick-fil-A on Wednesday. According to NBCDFW, police were called to the scene around 4pm on Wednesday about a shooting.

Officers found two victims with gunshot wounds and were able to determine that the victims were targeted by the shooter, identified as Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta, 37-years-old, who had fled the scene. According to NBC, his spouse works at the Chick-fil-A and identified him as the shooter.

The two people who were shot died and Mendoza Argueta was booked into the Irving Jail just after 3am on Thursday morning charged with capital murder.

NBCDFW is also reporting that Immigration and Customs Enforcement has put a hold on his booking information. That means ICE intends to take custody of Mendoza Argueta. As of the time of this publishing , no information on his immigration status, how long he has been in the United States, or any other immigration information is known.

The investigation continues in Las Colinas and authorities are still trying to figure out why the shooting happened in the first place.
