Creepy Trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Caddo Lake’ Drops

Just in time for spooky season, the Shreveport area is going to get some new creepy content to watch. The project is called 'Caddo Lake' and it presents as a thriller movie that feels like it has a little supernatural element to it. In fact, you can see the trailer now, it just came out today:

Bloody Disgusting wrote up a synopsis that says:

“The plot revolves around when an 8-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes on Caddo Lake, a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to link together, forever altering a broken family’s history.”

This project was filmed between October and November of 2021. The film stars Dylan O'Brien, Eliza Scanlen, Lauren Ambrose, Eric Lange, Sam Hennings, and Diana Hopper. O'Brien is best known for his leading role in the Teen Wolf TV series and as the voice of Bumblebee in the 2018 "Bumblebee" movie with John Cena.

While Shyamalan's name is attached to the project, its as Producer. The film is written and directed by Celine Held and Logan George, who are best known for the film "Topside", which won the Jury Award for Best Director at South by Southwest. But with Shyamalan's production company working to bring this project to life, he will have influence over it. Which is why his name is being attached to it.

This is a great treat for fans in the Ark-La-Tex, because not only does the plot center around Caddo Lake, it was filmed in our area. At one point, filmmakers had asked locals to help with filming by providing vehicles from between 1998 and 2004 to help with scenes.
