The house, made famous from the movie "A Christmas Story," just hit the market! It was Ralphie Parker's house in the movie and now the iconic house, in the historic Cleveland Tremont neighborhood, located at 3159 W. 11th Street, is officially up for sale. However, whoever buys it will have a few things to contend with.

Tourists for starters, roughly 80,000 to 100,000 per year! After all, is a working piece of Cleveland movie history. According to the current owner 47-year-old, Brian Jones, a major fan of the movie says tourist visits bring in an estimated six figures per year! That money may come in handy. The fact that there are a few other items that go along with the property may be why Mr. Jones didn't disclose a minimum listing price on the famous home.

Turns out potential buyers would get a lot more than just the house, which is now a museum. The new owners would have to purchase the gift shop, the gift shop employees, a parking lot for the museum and gift shop, and the home of Ralphie’s neighbors, the Bumpuses! So, pretty much the entire " A Christmas Story" movie set!

Mr. Jones sat down with WKYC of Cleveland and explained how he acquired the property, why he was selling it, and the type of buyers he was looking for.

I got a feeling that whoever buys this property, knows what they are getting into. I have no doubt that Mr. Jones will find the right people. By the way, he couldn't have picked a better time to sell the property. After all this time Warner Brothers is finally releasing a sequel to the 1983 holiday movie. It just so happens that "A Christmas Story Christmas " premieres this Thursday, November 17 on HBO Max!

Just in time for the holidays, Deadline revealed the new sequel of the beloved Christmas movie will see the return of 4 actors from the original flick. Peter Billingsley returns as Ralphie, Scott Schwartz as Flick, R.D. Robb as Schwartz, and Ian Petrella as Randy.

The 2022 sequel takes place in the 70s and Ralphie's all grown up. He returns home to Cleveland and the iconic house in Tremont to give his kids a glimpse of the kind of Christmas he had as a child. The film follows an adult Ralphie as he hooks up with his old friends and deals with the passing of his Old Man.

All the hype surrounding the long-overdue sequel of the legendary Christmas movie could only help Brian Jones sell the iconic house and property. Fans of the original movies might want to watch it again with their families and get reacquainted with the story. This Thursday watch the famous story evolve with the return of a grown-up Ralphie hoping to create a magical Christmas for his kids!  Below is a look at the new movie trailer!
