Take Control of Your Finances Louisiana: Financial Literacy Workshop This Thursday!

In today's world, everything costs more. It's not just the groceries, the cost of everyday life from healthcare, utilities, gas, and childcare. Now more than ever knowing how to manage your finances is key to obtaining and sustaining your quality of life and preparing for the future.

Though some schools offer this critical class, a good majority in the U.S. do not. The same is true for most American households. Like anything, if we're not taught to develop these skills we won't.

WHY IS PERSONAL FINANCIAL LITERACY IMPORTANT?

The earlier we learn this life lesson the better. When we are financially literate, we have an essential foundation that sets us up to better manage and budget our paychecks, prevent and manage debt, and save, or invest it. The good news is that we are never too old to learn and develop the skills.
