Westlake Police & Fire To Host National Night Out In October
[KNGT-FM] - One of our favorite things to do is to gather the family together and have a night out. Fortunately, here in Southwest Louisiana, we have a ton of things to do with our family and kids. Events like Movies Under The Stars, Skating events, Downtown at Sundown concerts series, and Farmers Markets are just some of the things we look forward to every year.
Another great thing to do with your kids is to get them involved with the community and have them get to know our local fire and police departments. It is good for them to learn about what the brave men and women in law enforcement and fire departments do, and also, if they ever are in need of some help, they will know who to call.
There is an event coming your way this October where you and the kids can do just that. The Westlake, Louisiana, Police and Fire Departments will be hosting a National Night Out this month, where you can bring your family out for a night of great events and activities.

It is all taking place on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, at 1000 National Drive at Freedom Hall from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Westlake, Louisiana. There will be free hot dogs, drinks, games, and activities for all ages.
You and your family will be able to meet and greet with the Westlake Police Department, the Westlake Fire Department, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, the Louisiana State Police, the US Army Aviation, and more.
