Things To Do In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend March 8-10

Finally, the weekend is upon us and it's time to go do something fun. After a long week of kids, work, cleaning the house, cooking dinner, and the everyday grind, we all need some time to ourselves and blow off some steam.

Are you looking for something fun to do this weekend in Southwest Louisiana? Here we go with a list of things to do.

Paul's Rib Shack will have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Paul's is located at 4800 Nelson Road in Lake Charles. Friday night, March 8th will be John Leger, and Saturday, March 9th will be Ronnie Fruge.

Linda's Lounge is located at 4338 Lake Street In Lake Charles and this Friday night they will have Leroy Thomas Live on stage. Then on Saturday night, get ready for Gerard Delafose to perform live. Both artists will play from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am.

The Louisiana high school boys basketball state tournament is taking place at the Burton Coliseum on Friday and Saturday. These two days of games will determine the state champions for Louisiana boy's high school basketball.

The Charlie Wayne Band will be live at the Panorama Music House this Saturday from 9:00 pm to Midnight. It is located in downtown Lake Charles on Broad Street.

The Monster Truck Nitro Tour will be inside the Lake Charles Event Center on Saturday, March 9th, 2024. There are two shows. The first one is at 1:30 pm and the second show is 7:30 pm. Tickets are available inside the Event Center box office.

Cooper Alan will be live at the Golden Nugget Grand Event Center on Saturday at 8:00 pm.
