SWLA Weekend Weather Looks Great… Then Rain Moves In

Lake Charles, LA — Alright y’all… week three of the Cajun Weekend Weather Report and I gotta say… this one kinda plays with your emotions a little bit.

We got a little bit of everything this weekend. Sunshine… clouds… and yeah… rain sneaking in at the end like it always does.

This Weeks Weather Report

Friday
Now Friday is what I like to call a “don’t waste it” day. High around 86, low in the upper 60s, and mostly sunny with barely any rain chances.

This right here… this is your green light.

You been putting off cutting the grass? Do it Friday.
You wanna fire up the grill? Do it Friday.
You wanna sit outside with something cold in your hand and pretend you ain’t got responsibilities? Definitely do it Friday.

Because this is the best weather of the whole weekend… and it ain’t even close.

Saturday… still warm. High around 86 again, but now the clouds start rolling in.

Rain chances are still pretty low, so you’re probably good… but it’s one of those days where the sky just looks like it’s thinking about raining.

You know the type. You can still get out and do your thing. Fishing, cookouts, whatever you got planned… you’re fine. Just don’t go too far from cover… because Louisiana weather loves to change its mind real quick.

And here we go…

Sunday brings the showers. High drops a little to around 80, cooler in the morning, but rain chances jump up.

This is that slow it down kinda day. Perfect excuse to stay inside, cook something good, maybe watch a game, take a nap… listen to the rain hit the roof and just chill out.

If you do go somewhere… just plan on getting a little wet. No big deal.

So here’s the bottom line this weekend…

Friday is your MVP.
Saturday is a maybe.
Sunday… yeah… that’s your couch day.
