2025 SWLA High School Football Jamboree Schedule

Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - Football is officially back in full swing with College Football is getting underway this weekend, but fans still have a little longer to wait to catch High School Football games that mean anything.

This is jamboree week here in Louisiana, and we've got all of the matchups taking place this weekend here in Southwest Louisiana, or with matchups involving Southwest Louisiana teams.

We are excited to bring back our Southwest Louisiana Game of the Week this year on 92.9 The Lake, where we will select the best matchup in the SWLA area and broadcast the game on the radio.

We've already announced our Week One matchup! For the first week of the High School Football season, we will be headed to Jennings as the Bulldogs will be taking on Iowa.

This year, our coverage of High School Football in the area is continuing to grow as we are bringing back an All-New version of the Pigskin Preview, which will air on 92.9 The Lake from 7-8 PM on Wednesday Nights. The Show will broadcast live from Walk Ons, and fans are asked to join our crew of Chaston Tavares and Patrick Frey out on the patio for a live viewing of the show.

The show will feature an hour of High School Football talk, and the fellas will recap the previous week, break down our Game of the Week matchup with the two Head Coaches, and preview the next week in High School Football here in Southwest Louisiana.
