Swamp Pop Legend Don Rich’s Concert In Lake Charles Postponed

[KNGT-FM] Everyone is watching the weather at this point, waiting to find out what Invest 93-L is going to do. Forecasters are certain, however, that the state of Louisiana will be getting a lot of rain over the next three days.

With an uncertainty looming, it is prompting businesses, folks holding events, and people to postpone certain events they had planned for this upcoming weekend. Such is the case with the folks at Jellystone RV park and resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Swamp Pop legend Don Rich was scheduled to perform live at the Jellystone RV park and resort in Lake Charles this Saturday, July 19th, but they have announced that it has been postponed due to pending weather.

Don Rich is known for his Louisiana-based Swamp Pop sound and has recorded many hit records throughout his career. Some of his biggest hits include Everyday Is A Holiday, La La, and a cover of Into The Mystic.

The park took to its Facebook page to make the announcement. They said,

Good morning, campers! Due to the potential rain this Saturday, the decision has been made to reschedule Don Rich for the near future. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will post an update soon once we have rescheduled the show. Happy Camping -Source Jellystone

The park has some really great entertainment scheduled in the upcoming months. Wayne Toups, Steve Riley, Chubby Carrier, Damon Troy, Four Horses, and Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition, to name a few. Here is the complete lineup they have coming soon.
