Get Hands-on With Sustainable Living At This Local Expo
🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Louisiana — If you have ever wanted to learn how to take better care of yourself and your family, this is one event you will want to circle on the calendar.
The 15th Annual Crisis and Sustainable Living Expo is coming up, and it is packed with real, hands on knowledge from folks who actually live this stuff every day.
This expo is a grassroots effort. The people teaching the classes are sharing what they have learned from real experience. There are no guarantees promised. No sales pitches dressed up as facts. Just people helping people.
What Classes are at the Crisis Expo?
The class list is deep. You can learn how to make your own bread, start practical homesteading, and get into basic prepping without blowing money on things you do not need. There are classes on building a solid first aid kit, making soap, and even how to prepare for big events like pandemics, nuclear conflict, chemical or biological attacks, and HEMP situations.
Gardening gets a lot of love at this expo. Many different classes throughout
the day for beginners, seniors, and folks with limited space or mobility. You will learn about canning fresh vegetables and meat, sanitation and survival, rainwater harvesting, and raising different types of livestock.
If you are curious about natural living, you can learn about herbs as medicine and food, beekeeping, and freeze drying food for long term storage. These are skills that used to be common and are making a strong comeback.
The Expo Hall is loaded too. You will find national and local vendors offering medical supplies, water filter systems, home grain mills, gardening plants, essential oils, bee products, honey, long term storage food, and prepping gear like fire starters. There will be ham radio operation demos, knife and tool sharpening, Iowa Preparedness, Aftershock Preparedness, apocalypse well pumps, and more.
There is on site food, door prizes, and plenty of chances to talk one on one with vendors and speakers.
If you like learning useful stuff and supporting people who care about self reliance, this one is worth your time.
