Around Southwest Louisiana, Spring Love or In My Eyes were the two bangers we all loved as teenagers riding up and down Ryan Street in Lake Charles, jamming the tunes through our high-powered amps and massive speakers in our vehicles. Remember this banger?

Johnny O rose to prominence in the mid-to-late 1980s, with tracks like Fantasy Girl becoming staples of the freestyle scene. While he didn’t have the same level of mainstream chart success as Stevie B, he was hugely popular in clubs and on dance radio.

Trinere also found her audience in the late ’80s, scoring freestyle hits like “They’re Playing Our Song” and “I’ll Be All You Ever Need.” She became one of the leading female voices in the genre during that era.

All three of these artists will be performing live at the Coushatta Entertainment Center inside the casino at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The doors open at 7:00 pm, and the show starts at 8:00 pm.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, May 8th, at 10:00 am and can be found on Coushatta's website here.
