This weekend, here in Southwest Louisiana, we have the Marshland Festival going on at the Lake Charles Event Center, the Mini KISS Concert, Rodney Carrington, and so many other great events going on.

If you've never seen Rodney live, you are missing out. He has been making people laugh since the late ’80s with a mix of stand-up jokes and silly songs. Rodney got famous after releasing his first album in 1998 and went on to put out several more that even went gold or platinum. He had his TV show called Rodney from 2004 to 2006 and co-wrote and acted in the movie Beer for My Horses with Toby Keith.
