Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - After Friday Night’s win over Lamar, McNeese State will now turn its focus to conference foe Stephen F Austin in a pivotal matchup on Monday Night.

Freshman Larry Johnson led the charge for McNeese with 19 points in the win in the 121st Battle of the Border with Lamar on Friday Night. Garcia, Dual, Johnson, and Archie all finished in double figures as McNeese slugged past the Cardinals 82-70.

It certainly wasn’t a pleasing one on the eyes for the National Audience that watched on CBS Sports Network as the two teams combined to shoot over 70 free throws in the contest.

“We’ve got 10 guys who can contribute,” Armstrong said. “Every night, different guys step up.”
