Popular Mexican Restaurant To Open New Location In Sulphur, Louisiana
There will be a new restaurant coming to Southwest Louisiana. We love it when new restaurants decide to venture here to our neck of the woods, and it looks like we could be getting another new one soon.
I grew up in DeRidder, Louisiana where we grew up going to Mi Rancho VERY often. Mi Rancho initially opened in 2011, and it was a struggle at first, Garcia almost closed the Restaurant but instead borrowed money from friends and family to keep it open. ''After a while, the community started to support us and the business became stable,"
Because Mi Rancho eventually became successful, they were able to open a second restaurant, El Viejo Tony, in Port Arthur." El Viejo Tony, 4300 Highway 365, has become an important entity in the local dining scene since opening in 2016. Since they have also opened a location in Beaumont.
After suffering extensive damage to Mi Rancho, Garcia was able to officially open El Viejo Tony's in DeRidder.
It looks like one may also be coming to Sulphur. I was driving through Sulphur the other morning and I noticed something out of the ordinary out in front of the old Quaker Steak & Lube at 535 N Cities Service Hwy, Sulphur, LA. A SIGN FOR EL VIEJO TONY!
