LSU Linebacker Whit Weeks became a fan favorite in Baton Rouge during the 2024 season. This year, Weeks is labeled as one of the best defensive players in the country. For Weeks, his best game of the '24 season came against Ole Miss, where he racked up nearly 20 tackles against the Rebels.

On Monday, a social media post from Landy Kiffin, the daughter of Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin, took the internet by storm when Landry revealed a photo of her sitting on the lap of LSU linebacker Whit Weeks.

A Tiger dating the daughter of a Rebel coach, and the type of character that Coach Kiffin is... You can’t make this stuff up.

Whit basically confirmed the rumors by posting the photo on his Instagram Story a mere minutes after Landry posted the photo. Lane Kiffin later alluded to the situation on Monday Evening, replying to a tweet with "Take the over" on a post talking about the situation.

I think I'll just be sitting in the back with my popcorn, because this could be fun.

To make it even juicier, last season, Weeks made a big tackle right in front of Coach Kiffin and had a little “moment” after the play. Now, knowing he was tackling his girlfriend’s dad’s team? That’s next-level SEC drama.

The real question is... Who is actually playing the mind games during game week? Did Lane get Landry to post the photo, or did Whit ask Landry to hard launch their relationship to get an edge on Lane and the Rebels? I guess we'll never really know...
