Falling demand for LSU games drives ticket price drop

[KNGT-FM] - The struggle is real in Baton Rouge these days for the LSU football program. There was so much anticipation for the 2025 football team leading up to the start of the season, and now it has all come crashing down.

The past month has been a difficult time for LSU football fans. It all started to come undone on September 27th when the Tigers lost to Ole Miss 24-19. Then LSU rebounded to beat South Carolina 20-10, but it wasn't a pretty win.

Then LSU lost to Vanderbilt, which started a stir among LSU fans. But then LSU was embarrassed on national television at night on their home field by Texas A&M, and that is when the wheels came off the program.

LSU fired head coach Brian Kelly and the offensive coordinator this past week after a dismal performance over the past month. LSU named Frank Wilson the interim head coach for the remainder of the 2025 season.

LSU is off this week as they prepare for what most fans say is the most important game of the year, as the Tigers will face Alabama on November 8th. LSU only has two home games left in the 2025 season.

Demand for tickets to the final two home games is at an all-time low, which is being reflected in the price tickets are going for.
