Westlake, Louisiana To Host ‘West Fest’ This Saturday October 4
[KNGT-FM] - It's hard to believe that it is already October. This year is just flying by. It seems like Mardi Gras was just a couple of months ago. There are so many things to do in the Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana area; we look forward to the weekend to enjoy them.
The first event of October is here. The West Fest is back for another year and will take place this Saturday, October 4th, in Weslake, Louisiana. The festival started a couple of years ago in Westlake, Louisiana, as a way for people and residents of the Southwest Louisiana community to come together for a day of fun, food, and live music.

Each year, the West Fest has been growing in size and quality every year and this year's festival is going to be huge. This year, the West Fest is stacked with great entertainment and family-friendly events.
The West Fest is scheduled for this Saturday, October 4, 2025, with gates opening at 11:00 AM and festivities continuing until 10:00 PM. The entertainment lineup of music is great. Scheduled to appear include:

When you attend the festival, you will see local vendors where you can shop and see a wide variety of goods from makers, artwork, homemade beef jerky, and more. Plus, there will be food trucks out there to satisfy your appetite. And of course, they will have something for the kiddos to. The festival will have six giant inflatable bounce houses, and other fun attractions will keep running around all day.
The West Fest takes place at Pinederosa Park in Westlake, Louisiana, which is located off of Westwood Road next to the National Golf Course. We will see you out there.
