The giveaway is open to seniors graduating this year who plan to attend a college, community college, or trade school in the fall of 2026. Students must also show proof that they are already accepted into a school.

Gordon McKernan is known for being very active in communities across Louisiana. Through programs like Gordon’s Grads, Gordon's Bike Giveaway at Christmastime, and other outreach efforts, he regularly gives back by supporting students, schools, and local families.

Now, Gordon is giving away 15 free laptops through his 2026 “Gordon’s Grads” program. The program started in 2020 and is part of McKernan’s effort to give back to students across Louisiana.

How To Enter

Winners will receive a new laptop to help with schoolwork as they start the next step in their education. To apply, students must submit either a 500-word essay or a 90-second video. They will need to explain why they should be chosen and what makes them stand out.

The winners will be picked based on creativity, effort, and need. A total of 15 students will be selected.
