Lake Charles, La [KNGT-FM] - As we get closer to Halloween, this weekend starts some Halloween activities, and also, there are some concerts and live music going on. So this weekend, you get the choice from dressing up in your best costume to taking in a concert or going to see some great local talent in the area.

The Blackberry Smoke: Rattle, Ramble and Roll Tour 2025 rolls into Lake Charles on Saturday night. The band will perform live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center starting at 8:00 pm.

Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, is hosting its annual Halloween party and costume contest this Saturday night, October 25th. It will take place inside the entertainment complex, which is attached to the casino. First place winner will receive $5000 cash, while contestants who come in 2nd -10th place will receive big money in free play. Here is the link on how to register and the time of the event.
The Kiwanis Club of SWLA is holding its annual Coats For Kids drive is taking place Friday evening at Crying Eagle Brewery on McNeese Street in Lake Charles, and will take place from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
