🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Lake Charles, LA — Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center in Lake Charles is putting out a call for artists, builders, and makers for a brand new community exhibit called Brick by Brick. And yes, it’s all about LEGO.

Starting this January, the second floor gallery at Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center will be filled with LEGO creations built by folks right here in our area. This isn’t just for pros or people with fancy tools. If you love building, dreaming, and thinking a little outside the brick, they want to see what you’ve got.

Anything goes. Classic builds straight from the box. Wild custom creations. Big ideas. Small ideas. Colorful ideas. If it’s made with LEGO and ready to be displayed, it has a shot at being part of the show.

Every submission will be considered for LEGO themed prizes in five different categories. Those include Custom Build, Local Landmark, Arts and Culture, People’s Choice, and Best in Show. That means you could build something inspired by Southwest Louisiana, local history, or just something that makes folks smile when they walk by.

Submissions are first come, first served, so waiting around isn’t the move. The exhibit will be open to the public from Friday, January 16 through March 14, 2026.

For More Information you can email artsandculture@cityoflc.us

So build something cool. Share it with the community. And help turn Historic City Hall into one big LEGO dream this winter.
