The largest flea market in Southwest Louisiana is coming back to Lake Charles in November. Bargain hunters, garage sale folks, and antique lovers get ready because Flea Fest has announced that it will be back in Lake Charles in November 2024.

The two-day event features hundreds of booths with pretty much anything and everything that you expect to see at a large flea market. You can find anything from clothes to antiques to homemade products and a Farmer's Market.

According to the Flea Fest Facebook Page,

Flea Fest’s offerings include antiques, retro & vintage items, handcrafted items, toys, collectibles, unique clothing, art work, comic books, furniture, gifts, unique & handcrafted jewelry, plants, records, military surplus, and many other flea market style goods. Some vendors offer new and unique/hard to find items too. The kids will love the pony rides and petting zoo and everyone will enjoy our awesome array of Food Trucks/vendors!

This year's Flea Fest will take place at the Burton Coliseum complex's event barn located at 7001 Gulf Hwy. in Lake Charles, Louisiana. It will take place on Saturday, November 9th, and Sunday, November 10th, 2024.

It will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on both days and there is a $5 entry fee. No pets are allowed at the event except service animals. Parking is free or you can opt for VIP parking for a charge of $5.

Flea Fest used to take place twice a year but the founders and event coordinators have decided to only do it once a year and have even released the next three years of dates for the popular event. The dates for future fleas fest include

  • Nov. 15-16, 2025
  • Nov. 14-15, 2026
  • Nov. 13-14, 2027
