The City of Vinton, Louisiana, will be holding its Merry Christmas Celebration this Saturday, December 13, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The event will be held in the parking lot by Farmhouse Market at 1321 Horridge Street. The event will feature food trucks, holiday shopping, live music by Timmy Dugas & ZydeCane, a visit from Santa, and a good chance of snow.

The Candy Cane Girls have taken over the Frosty Factory on Common Street in South Lake Charles and have transformed it into real Christmas experience with Lake Charles' first ever Christmas bar. The inside of the Frosty looks phenomenal, and here's your chance to check it out while flexing your golden pipes doing some Karaoke Friday and Saturday night.
The McNeese Cowboys men's and women's basketball teams will be in Lake Charles, taking on East Texas A&M at the Townsley Law Center this Friday night. The Lady Cowgirls game starts at 5:00 pm, while the tip-off of the men's game is set for 7:30 pm that night.
