Events & Concerts In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend June 7-9

The weekend is finally here boys and girls. It's been a long one right? Now it's time to throw caution to the wind, get out, and have fun.

There are a ton of live local music concerts going on in the area and even a cool festival happening this weekend in the area. Here's a laundry list of events in the Southwest Louisiana area.

The Coushatta Powwow is taking place Friday night and all day Saturday at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana. The event is inside the pavilion behind the casino. Here are the details.

Johnny Jimenez will be live Friday night at On The Rocks in Lake Charles and then live at Linda's Lounge on Lake Street in Lake Charles Saturday night.

Doc Wilder will be live at The Boardwalk bar located on East McNeese Street in Lake Charles. The Boardwalk is in the same shopping center as The Man Cave.

Chris Breaux and Six String Rodeo will be live at Linda's Lounge in Lake Charles Friday night from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am.

Paul's Rib Shack will have the Paddio Daddios on Friday night and The Envies on Saturday night in the beautiful backyard. Paul's is located at 4800 Nelson Road in Lake Charles. Both bands play from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm each night.

Loggerheads and Riverside Resort off of Old Town Road in Lake Charles will have The River Katz Friday night, The Rosedown Rockers Saturday night, and Thunderbird Rose Sunday afternoon.
