Events & Concerts In Lake Charles And SWLA This Weekend Sept. 27-29

The weekend is finally here, and it's time to do something fun. Let's leave the hustle and bustle behind, let your hair down, and have some fun. There are concerts, live music, and events going on in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana.

As we do every Friday, we have gathered a list of things going on in the lake area and wanted to pass them along to you so you can decide what looks fun to go do.

Country music artist Brett Young will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center on Saturday night. He will be singing all of his big hits like Sleep Without You, In Case You Didn't Know, Lady, Mercy, Like I Loved You, and more. He will hit the stage at 8:00 pm that night.

Geno Delafose and his band French Rockin' Boogie will be live at Chaser's Bar & Grill located on the corner of University Drive and Lake Street in Lake Charles. Geno and the boys will be playing this Friday night starting at 9:00 pm.

Mark Reeves & Twisted X and Brandon Ledet will both be playing this Weekend at Linda's Lounge located on Lake Street in Lake Charles. Mark Reeves plays Friday night while Brandon Ledet will perform Saturday night.

There will be music in the backyard at Paul's Rib Shack located on Nelson Road in Lake Charles all weekend. Friday night it's the Taylor Morgan Trio and on Saturday night get ready for the Brown Liquor Boys.

Loggerheads located off of Old Town Road off of Highway 171 in Lake Charles just South of Moss Bluff will have Buddy Andrews Friday night, Fryaed Soul Saturday night, and Clint Faulk Sunday afternoon.
