In the Southwest Louisiana area, we have a lot of businesses that are owned by local lake area residents. While there are a ton of national brand stores and restaurants, there are a bunch of local folks that own stores and restaurants in the area that we try and frequent to support locals.

Unfortunately, sometimes those businesses have to make the difficult decision to stay open or close their doors due to many factors including the economy, cost of goods, and other factors.

After much thought and prayer, we have decided to close Miller's Super Saver. This was not an easy decision to make. We love our community, dedicated workers, and loyal customers. Here is the entire post made by the store on Tuesday.

We are sad to see this cool store close its doors. We wish nothing but the best for its owners and employees in the future.
