Do You Have What It Takes? Singing Competition For All Ages

Get ready to raise your voices and show off your talent at the upcoming MELON VOICE Singing Competition, a part of the Beauregard Watermelon Festival. Scheduled to take place from June 27th to June 29th, this event promises to be spectacular and draw singers of all ages from across the region. The Beauregard Watermelon Festival is full of fun, whether you're looking for sweet watermelons, carnival rides, games, or food, they have it and so much more.

Last year the festival featured games like the Watermelon Weiner Dog Derby, the Watermelon Relay Races, Seed Spitting Competitions, Watermelon Eating Competitions, Watermelon Growing Classes, Mullet Competition, Baby Watermelon Crawl Contests, and so many others.

This year's festival will feature all of that and some. It will also feature American Idol Winner Laine Hardy and Kylie Frey in concert headlining on Friday and Saturday nights. Mixed in there will also be singing competitions for local kids and adults!

Last year, Melon Voice was one of the best events of the entire festival, so the organizers decided to bring it back! This year, there will be two separate divisions – one for adults and one for kids – the stage is set for a weekend of unforgettable performances.

What sets the MELON VOICE Singing Competition apart is its inclusivity. Unlike many talent competitions, this event is entirely free to enter, making it accessible to aspiring singers from all walks of life.

Participants in the adult division will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of a panel of judges and a lively audience. From pop to country, rock to R&B, singers are invited to bring their own unique style and interpretation to the stage. With a grand prize of $200 up for grabs, the competition will surely be fierce and fun!

The kids' division offers younger singers a chance to shine in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether they're belting out their favorite songs or performing a heartfelt ballad, these young talents are sure to impress both judges and spectators alike.
