Black Pot Cook-Off With Wayne Toups In Lake Charles This Weekend
[KNGT-FM] - A new kind of cook-off is taking place this weekend in Lake Charles. It's called the black pot cookoff, referring, of course, to a black cast-iron pot, and it will be the first of its kind. It is taking place at the Jellystone RV park and resort in Lake Charles this weekend.
Do you like to cook? Do you own a cast-iron pot? Do you think you're the best cook when it comes to whipping up something in your black cast-iron pot? If all the answers are yes, then get your team together and enter the first-ever Black Pot Cook-off.
This one-of-a-kind event will bring together cooking teams showcasing their signature dishes in black cast-iron pots, all competing for the coveted first-place prize. It all takes place this September at Jellystone RV Park and Resort in Lake Charles.
