The oldest and coldest festival gets underway today and runs through the weekend. The Fur & Wildlife Festival is taking place in downtown Cameron this Friday and Saturday, featuring carnival rides, food, contests, and a great lineup of live music, including Rusty Metoyer and Steelshot.

Jay Leno will be in Lake Charles this weekend for a big comedy show at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center. He will take the stage at 8:00 pm on Saturday, and tickets can be purchased here. 

LA ROXX will take the stage live at Coffee:30 Café. The locally owned spot has relocated from South Lake Charles and is now open at 3420 Ryan Street, inside the building that formerly housed Mellow Mushroom and Salt Revival Oyster.  For more info, you can check out the show details here.
