
Concerts & Events In SWLA And Lake Charles This Weekend Feb. 7-9
The first weekend of February is here and in the lake area, there will be a few things going on including concerts, live music, and big game parties aka Super Bowl parties all over the area.
The question is, what to do? That is where we come in. Here is a list of things happening in the lake area this weekend. You can weigh your options and decide where to go and what to do.
Aaron Lewis will be playing live Saturday night in Lake Charles, He will be performing at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center and will take the stage at 8:00 pm. As far as we know, the show is sold out, but you can try some secondary ticket outlets to see if there are any tickets.
Geno Delafose will be live in Lake Charles on Friday night when the makes a stop at Linda's Lounge in Lake Charles. Linda's is located on Lake Street in South Lake Charles. Geno and his band French Riockin' Boogie will take the stage starting at 9:00 pm that night.
Super Bowl 59 will take place in New Orleans on Sunday evening inside the Caesars Superdome between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philidelphia Eagles. There are a ton of big game parties going on in the area. Check your favorite hangout to see if they will be having a party for the big game.
Sunday Funday includes live music brunches all over the area. You can enjoy live music at Rickenjacks on Ryan Street featuring the band Zydecane. Luna's Bar & Grill in Downtown Lake Charles has a brunch with live music starting at 10:00 am, and Tia Juanita's Fish Camp has a jazz brunch starting at 10:30 am.
Several Farmers Markets are going on Saturday morning in the area. One in Lake Charles located on Biblo Street by the old courthouse, one in Moss Bluff on Highway 378, and one in Westlake at Millers Super Saver on Sampson Street. All three markets' hours are from 8:00 am to Noon.
