Lake Charles, La [KNGT-FM] - There are only two block parties left for the 2025 season. Can you believe that? Well, it's true. We have already had four cowboy block parties this year, and they have been epic.

So far this year, Wayne Toups, The Molly Ringwalds, The Flamethrowers, and LA Roxx have all performed some terrific shows, and the block party has been attended by thousands of people.

We all wait what seems like forever for the football season to get here, and when it does, it just flies by extremely fast. The block party takes place on the Friday night before every home McNeese Football game. And for 2025, there are only two home games left, which means you only have two more chances to come out to the block party this year.

Remaining bands for the 2025 Cowboy Block Parties

Next up is the party band everyone loves, The Chee Weez. The Chee-Weez is a 5-piece tribute/show band that specializes in making sure YOU have a great time and leave with a smile. It’s about having a good time with your closest friends, laughing, smiling, and of course, enjoying the PARTY. The Chee-Weez strives to bring it each time they step on stage.

The Cowboy Block Party is located on the corner of Common and McNeese streets in South Lake Charles by the Robert Noland outdoor pavilion. The Cowboy Block Parties are FREE and open to all ages. You can enjoy free parking and free entry.

There will be food trucks on site, and you are allowed to bring in your own ice chest with whatever you would like to drink, meaning alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.

The final Cowboy Block Party is slated for Friday, November 14, 2025, with the widely popular band and those crazy boys from Cameron Parish, Steel Shot.
