The festival has been taking place for decades now and celebrates the culture, heritage, food, and language of the Cajun culture. The festival is actually in its 38th year, which means that is almost four decades that this fun festival has been taking place.

The festival is only a one-day festival and will take place inside the air-conditioned Burton Coliseum this Saturday, July 19, 2025. The doors will open at 8:00 am and run until 10:30 pm that night.
