If you love Cajun, Country, Zydeco, and Louisiana music and also love to help a great charity, then get ready for Cajun Woodstock which is coming your way in April of 2023 in Church Point, Louisiana.

What is Cajun Woodstock and how did it come about you ask? According to the Cajun Woodstock Facebook page,

Cajun Woodstock was organized in 2003, from a vision one night at band practice with J.C. Carriere & Hotstep. Wanting to create an event for the community and at the same time, an event that would “give back”, the band came up with “Cajun Woodstock for St. Jude Children’s Hospital”.

While our first year, a one day benefit, raised $7500, it has become a 2 day festival with 8 bands, food vendors and auctions. It is held the last full April weekend every year. As of our 2015 festival, our 13th year, we have sent St. Jude over $400,000 with the help of our sponsors, the community and our great volunteers!
