Beauregard Watermelon Festival Announces 2024 Schedule

The summer is going to be jam-packed here in Southwest Louisiana with event after event nearly every weekend. Go ahead and mark your calendars for the last weekend in June, because that will be the Beauregard Watermelon Festival in DeRidder!

The Beauregard Watermelon Festival is full of fun, whether you're looking for sweet watermelons, carnival rides, games, or food, they have it and so much more.

Last year the festival featured games like the Watermelon Weiner Dog Derby, the Watermelon Relay Races, Seed Spitting Competitions, Watermelon Eating Competitions, Watermelon Growing Classes, Mullet Competition, Baby Watermelon Crawl Contests, and so many others.

This year's festival will feature all of that and some. It will also feature American Idol Winner Laine Hardy and Kylie Frey in concert headlining on Friday and Saturday nights. Mixed in there will also be singing competitions for local kids and adults!
