America’s Least Favorite Brand of Mustard is Sold in Louisiana
Even though mustard might not be as popular as ketchup, that doesn’t mean people don’t care about their favorite mustard brands. Mustard lovers can be pretty passionate about which kind they like the most.
Some people enjoy the sharp, vinegary flavor of regular yellow mustard, while others prefer the spicier taste of Dijon or brown mustard. When it comes to picking a favorite, opinions can be very different on which brand makes the best—or worst—mustard.
Choosing the "best" or "worst" mustard is a tricky task. After all, everyone has different tastes. So how can anyone decide which mustard people like the least? Well, in a recent poll conducted by Mashed, nearly 600 people across the U.S. were asked just that.
The survey included six popular mustard brands: Heinz, French’s, Gulden’s, Annie’s, Grey Poupon, and Sir Kensington’s. These brands can all be found on store shelves in Louisiana. Some people love them, others not so much. The poll results showed that each mustard had both fans and critics.
In a recent poll, Gulden’s spicy brown mustard was the least disliked, getting only 11.3% of the votes. French’s followed closely with 13.66%, despite being a favorite for many. Sir Kensington’s mustard received 15.68% of the votes, while Grey Poupon, a Dijon favorite, got 18.04%.
Annie’s organic mustard came in second place with 20.4%, but Heinz took the top spot for least favorite, with 20.91% of the vote. Some say Heinz’s mustard doesn’t stand out as much, making people wonder if the brand should stick to ketchup instead.
In the end, it all comes down to personal taste. What’s "the worst" mustard for one person might be the perfect pick for someone else. What’s important is that you try them out for yourself and decide which one you like best!
