2025 West Fest Announces Date Of Event & Entertainment Lineup
[KNGT-FM] -- The West Fest that takes place in Westlake, Louisiana, is coming back for another year. The festival began a couple of years ago and has been growing in size and quality every year. This year's West Fest will celebrate its third edition of the popular festival. This year, the West Fest is stacked with great entertainment and family-friendly events.
The event is put on by the City of Westlake, Louisiana, and invites folks from all over the Southwest Louisiana area to come out for a fun-filled day of kids' activities, live music, food trucks, and local vendors. You are allowed to bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and ice chests.
The City of Westlake announced the event, saying,
West Fest is more than just a festival—it’s a celebration of Westlake and its residents, showcasing the heart and spirit of our community. But it’s also an open invitation to our neighbors across Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas to come experience the hospitality, creativity, and fun that make Westlake special.

West Fest is set for Saturday, October 4, 2025, and the gates open at 11:00 AM, and the festivities continue until 10:00 PM. Some of the highlights of the West Fest include:
- Local Vendors: Browse a wide variety of goods from talented local artisans and makers, including artwork, homemade beef jerky, and everything in between.
- Food Trucks: Enjoy sweet and savory treats from some of the area’s favorite mobile kitchens.
- Kids’ Activities: Six giant inflatable bounce houses and other fun attractions will keep the little ones entertained all day.
