This special event is happening on February 1st at 23256 Hwy 26, Jennings, LA 70546, and it’s all about celebrating Cajun culture with the little ones. Kids aged 6 to 15 are invited to join in the Mardi Gras magic! There’s just one catch, every child must rock a traditional Mardi Gras costume. So, dust off those colorful outfits, grab some masks, and let the good times roll!

Here’s the scoop on how to join in:

  • Each child must have an adult accompany them (no solo runners, folks!).
Registration is just $10 per child, which is a small price for all the laughs and memories.
  • The deadline to register is bright and early at 8:30 a.m. on February 1st, so don’t be late!
  • But that’s not all! After the run, stick around for some delicious gumbo (available for purchase) and enjoy live Cajun music. It’s the perfect way to spend a day soaking up Louisiana’s rich heritage while watching the kids laugh, run, and make new friends.

This event is brought to you by the Cajun Family Chapter of the CFMA, a group dedicated to keeping Cajun culture alive and thriving. So, bring the kiddos, invite your neighbors, and let’s make this first-ever children’s run a celebration to remember!

Laissez les bons temps rouler!
