The first time I saw this artist play, he and his band blew me away!

Lake Charles artist, Justin Martindale, and his band, The Backstabbers, bring that American singer/songwriter vibe like Tom Petty, James Taylor, and Neil Young.

The first time I saw these guys perform was at the 2018 Chuckfest on the Main Stage. I was really digging on their original songs, and then they broke out a Tom Petty cover and absolutely blew me away.

The second time I saw Justin Martindale play was a collab project with other local artists at Mellow Mushroom where they played Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash covers. And yes, IT WAS AMAZING!
