92.9 The Lake has teamed up with Lake Charles Toyota and Laundry World to help collect much needed supplies for the less fortunate in SWLA.

The winter can be very harsh for the homeless of the Lake Area. We need your help.  You can donate coats, gloves, socks, blankets, water, tents, and pantry food items at Lake Charles Toyota (8:00am to 8:30pm) all this week for it to be delivered to Water's Edge Church this coming Friday.

Water's Edge Community Outreach Program feeds hundreds of homeless in SWLA every week. They have a room full of food, clothing, toiletries, baby items, and more that people who need them can pick up for free.

Water's Edge is in need of all types of winter clothing to distribute to the homeless but more specifically they need kid sizes. We would appreciate it if you would help those who are less fortunate in our area and drop off new or gently used clothing at Lake Charles Toyota this week.

The used clothing will be washed by Laundry World before being handed out to the people who need them.

We'll be broadcasting live from Lake Charles Toyota this Friday to finalize our Lake Area Homeless clothes and food drive and help load the box trucks full of much needed supplies to drive over to Water's Edge Church.

If you have the means to help, please do so.
