The Louisiana native's star is in a meaningful location.

Everyone knows the voice of Harry Connick Jr. It's original. It's smooth as glass. Dare I say it's i-connick? See what I did there? It's no surprise that this pride of Louisiana received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

He stopped by Good Morning America to talk about his star and he compared it to a Super Bowl ring in football. It was a fitting comparison as he was being interviewed by former NFL star, Michael Strahan. It's that big of a deal and when he received the phone call about the star, he said his mind was blown.

What is even more special about this star, is that it's right next to the star of the late Cole Porter.

Harry's next album is a celebration of Cole's work. The album, called 'True Love: A Celebration of Cole Porter', has Harry returning to his jazz roots. Cole also happens to be Harry's favorite artist. He loves him because he is one of the few artists out there who wrote his own music in addition to the lyrics.
