Halloween and Fall Festival Schedule
The summer doldrums are over, and it's getting cool enough to venture out of the air conditioning! Halloween is coming up, and there will be all sorts of outdoor activities in the following weeks.
Here are a few events on the schedule, including times for trick-or-treating in the area.

Harvest Festival: The Harvest Festival is a free event, and you'll find a little something for everyone. You don't have to wear a costume, but it will certainly add to the fun! The kids will love the variety of games, train rides, arts and crafts, bounce house jumps, face art designs and balloon characters. The Harvest Festival will be from 5-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 31, Lake Charles Civic Center, 900 Lakeshore Drive. For information, call 337-491-1280.
