Where can we go for? That's the question that pops up throughout the year when the holidays pop up.

Halloween is quickly approaching, and this is the weekend to partake in the various activities throughout the area. I have scanned through the various events going on and attempted to compile a list. I know I have missed a lot of things, but it's what I could find based on Facebook invites and flyers from the area.

Friday, October 25 -

Bayou Rum's Halloween Masquerade Ball at the Bayou Rum Event Center. Dress up and find/decorate your best mask and head east. Enjoy a spooky good time with drinks, food, and entertainment by Jarvis Jacob and the Southern Gents. Tickets are $100 per couple and the event starts at 6:30pm

Crying Eagle Coats for Kids Spooktacular - The Kiwanis Club and Crying Eagle have teamed up with a coat drive at the brewery. If you bring a coat, you'll receive a free Crying Eagle glass, drink token, and raffle ticket. Last year they were able to collect 1500 coats for kids, and hope this year will be even better.

Saturday, October 26 -

The Social Club Halloween Party. Featuring music by Johnny Jimenez, this costume party will feature a competition for best dressed, pumpkin carving, and drink specials throughout the night. The night starts at 7:00pm

Stonefired Pizzeria Trunk or Treat Party with We Rock the Spectrum. This sensory friendly truck or treat event will be held at We Rock the Spectrum at 3714 Common Street. Kids are $10.00 and that includes access to snacks, access to the gym, and the truck or treat. Also, if the kids show up to Stonefired Pizzeria in costume, they will receive buy one get on free pizza.

Pumpkin Fest at the Grant Tree Farm - Pumpkins, face painting, magic, arts, crafts, food and games will be available at this fun event in Grant, Louisiana. Admission to the festival is free and the tree farm encourages families to also walk around and find their Christmas tree before they leave.

CM Farms Halloween Fun - In Dry Creek, Louisiana, they will have wagon rides, zip lines, corn maze, pumpkin patches, lots of food, and animals to pet and love on. Ticket prices vary, but they have a link to purchase tickets on their Facebook page.

Halloween Bash at Bayou Magic Fun Center  - 7:00pm-10:00pm, for $10.00 per kid, they can enjoy 2 hours of free arcade games and mini golf. They will have a costume contest, food trucks, and their new virtual reality fun ride movies.

Well, there's a strong list of what is going on in the area for kids and adults. Obviously, there are plenty more out there for you to find and enjoy. No matter if you are enjoying with friends or kids, enjoy it safely this Halloween weekend.
